Shiloh's hands - update

Our little Shiloh is now walking again.  She had stopped when she got burned.  About two weeks ago the skin had finished covering over the wounds.  About a week ago when we were in Dar, I noticed that the new skin was thickening into scar tissue and beginning to pull tight.  We have been using different things on her hands to keep the skin soft, but it hasn't been doing the trick.  A couple of days ago a visiting physio-therapist  told me that this process would probably continue for about six months so during that period we have to keep her hands stretched out at night.  So that is what we are doing with her hands now.  we have a little splint and using tape and gauze, we strap her little hands so that the fingers and thumb are pulled back and the palm is stretched out all night.  She doesn't seem to mind it too much and hopefully that will do the trick.
