We had the privilege to attend the OCI Africa Leader's Retreat at Lake Malawi this past weekend. It was such a timely blessing and refresher for both me and Jason and our hearts are encouraged and thankful. God is good! Otherwise it has been pretty busy here - we had our Kibidula staff retreat and Jason's dad, Frank, came from the US to minister to us for a week. I trust that it was a blessing for all. It was for me. After that Jason went by bus to Arusha to attend the Union year end meetings and we are thankful for the work that was accomplished during 2011 and we look forward to what will be done during 2012. Personally I am very thankful for God's mercies and watchcare over Jason as he travels. And HE TRAVELS A LOT! 18 hours on a bush on the African road is no joke but we are in His service and our times are in His hand so we look to Him in all our needs. I am getting a bit concerned regarding the lack of rain we are experiencing (my impression). I hope we are not headed for a drought. We will have a small team from the OCI office here for a few days to film our ministry and currently we have the wives of all our lay missionaries at Kibidula for a retreat. I pray that I will be able to connect with them and pass on the blessing and encouragement I have received at the lake.
